Did you know that I have to lecture my kids about not touching other Poultry when we go places, and then I make them wash up when we get home?

A new lady at work asked why I don't want guinea hens mixed into my flock today. I got the feeling she might want to give me hers! I really don't want guinea hens.

Duckling occasionally gets to touch the chicks, but is washed before coming here. Though biosecurity isn't possible here. I don't want that risk.

Do you know how hard it would be to fill a wheelbarrow with leaves here today?

The wheelbarrow would crystalize and crack when the leafs hit it in this cold!

Did you know we got so hot raking leaves up, we had to eat ice cream, popcicles, and then go inside where we had AC.

Here's where I got my base recipe for the baked blueberry oatmeal.
The changes I made were unsweetened coconut instead of pecans ( I ran out of pecans) a pinch of lemon zest, a whole tablespoon of Ceylon cinnamon, and a 1/4 tsp almond extract ( because I like it I guess). I used maple syrup as my sweetener. It turned out pretty great!
