swans are mean and very territorial. And they require special food. They are pretty darn expensive too. They are like really needy mean geese on steroids. They are nice to look at but generally don't make good pets.

The cheapest you can get swans is a same sex pair for 1000 dollars. A mated pair is about 1500 for a 2 year old pair.

i grew up with swans at the farm i worked at, they werent bad, just like any goose
VERY EXPENSIVE
and broody goose is deadly!!

we used to have to catch them in the fall when the pond froze over, i never got bit, or chased or anything
