I had a car that the floor would get wet on the passenger if I parked it facing downhill and it rained. Face it uphill and it was fine.

Weird! I may have to back in during rainstorms. I noticed yesterday morning that the inside of the windshield was completely wet too, like condensation on steroids. This car lived its whole life thru tough Detroit winters with no problems. Now, 6 months in San Diego & suddenly its not even rain proof.

there is a drain under your dash, if pine needles get into the water spout outside of the car at the bottom of the 'a' pillar

it will clog the drain and back-up into your car, there is one on both sides driver and passenger


ALSO there are drains in sunroofs

the circles to the right are the drains, the left is where the window lines up with the drain



Have you ever noticed that if you wash your car there is a channel of water that come out underneath your car, though you are letting the hose run on the top of it or on the windshield

you can google your car make/model and water drains to get the exact locations

DYK that all that rain killed the Desert Rose my SIL bought me last year for my bday? Apparently they don't dream of ray-ye-ay-ye-ay-ye-ain after all.

Those roof panels were HEAVY! I'm exhausted, but at least they're off & the lighter ones on. I'm taking a mocha break before I go check out the car.
