Hey now...don't get your pipe in a knot. There are tons of foxes here regardless. I don't imagine one fox here or there is going to make that much of a difference. At least they live far from anyone else.

The guy up the road has a bunchof foxes at his place because he doesn't have pets and he throws his bacon fat out to them. He better keep 'em at his place...he's not that far from us.

All I'm saying is that the fox is a major carrier of rabies, and is a threat to pet dogs that may come in contact with them.

I do understand what you're conveying to me. I didn't mean to sound disrespectful...at all. They are the parents of my hubby's good friend...I don't think they would appreciate my telling them about the foxes. They're well educated, she was a nurse. They are 3-5 miles away from any neighbors. They are retired and just enjoying the wildlife I guess?
Here our major carrier of rabies is the skunk.
