Also - did you know that I was too lazy to clean the brooders BEFORE taking the pictures? So I took the pictures, then cleaned them out. Ducks are disgusting.

I think the nice thing about poultry, compared to other animals, is as long as they can make a mess with whatever it is they've got, they are easily made happy. I throw scratch grains and meal worms into the brooders, to keep them busy until they are big enough to go outside.

Did you know that baby chicks are scared of meal worms the first couple of times they see them? LOL
