Did you know..... Chat Thread! W/ Hosts: DwayneNLiz, kwhites634, BantyChooks, MotorcycleChick, C

did you know the rancid smell I'd been complaining about for 2 days, was a dead rat wedged between my bed and the wall where my cats apparently killed and left it for me?

Yuck.

Hubby finally disposed of it, bleached the floor and bed/wall and now we are trying to get the nasty smell out.

Did you know that sounds disgusting?

Did you know that a castrated (no longer)bull is called a steer and remains a steer until it is one year old it then is a Ox?
No, but I do know that's not the case
I was told that by a vet once and I just checked my notes and it is actually 4 years old that they turn into a Ox. It was a while ago that I heard it and I guess my memory isn't perfect.

Not to be argumentative, but unless I'm very badly mistaken, a cow, bull, or steer will never be an ox, regardless of age, unless they're trained as work animals
Did you know I think you are correct?

Did you know that putting onion powder in squash intended for a main dish, putting it in the fridge, and deciding a few days later that you want to make pumpkin bread makes the result taste rather like cinnamoned stuffing?
(For those who do not know, I put squash in my "pumpkin" bread)

due to being gluten-free, I don't eat a lot of the stuff you guys do. :( I have to live vicariously through all you gluten-eaters.

Did you know that I watched my grand son play base ball from 8:30 this morning until 7:30 tonight ? 4 games in eleven hours.
