Did you know that when I was a kid we used to collect bayberries, render them, and make bayberry candles? Do you have any idea how many buckets of bayberries it takes to get enough wax to make candles ?

I can guess it takes a lot, since to make jam, it would take more then a few bushes, per batch. LOL

Did you know I miss black berries, rasberries and fresh blueberries? They don't grow well in texas.
