I still have carrots growing in the garden!
We've never had much luck with carrots; they only get a couple inches long before they rot. Zucchini & green beans on the other hand....
Not the greatest soil here; on a shale shelf. Have to pick your spots for post holes, even with an auger.

It’s not about the points.
Not everyone does.
but the ones that do are the only ones that should matter

Me too. I'm reaching that stage I hit every year where I can't think of anything else and I hear imaginary peeping. :th
I have all my incubator equipment out to sort, clean, and upgrade. Me, a chicken problem? Naaah. :gig

Chick fever is why I ended up with sexlinks two years in a row. They are always the first bird in stores right when I am at my most vulnerable. I have sworn I will NOT buy any feed store chicks this year, not even bantams.
 did you know that i dont believe you, at all

I had 24 chickens and 14 guineas. Now i lost 7 chickens.:(
i'm sorry

Why does everyone want a separate hatcher?
more hatching!!

I think its Mareks. I lost 7 out of 12 of my Speckled Sussex and one polish. Plus the last one that died had mites, before this one.
