roger that.. amps will kill you volts intimidate you. now the amperage that fried that lizard in the pump box, would bbq a human too. That starter capacitor even multiples that amperage to jolt the motor spinning. those capacitors can bite you awhile after being disconnected from the power source.

I knew more than one DIY tv repairman to get slammed against a wall when he hit the capacitor on an unplugged tv

Dixie was one of two white/black Pointers I ever owned; the other was one of her daughters. All the others I owned over the years were either white/liver or white/lemon. I knew a guy in B'more who had one that was solid white.

Well, sit down & hold tight to something solid. Some German Shorthair Pointers are, by far, more white than brown.
