Diffences Between EEs, Ameraucanas, and Araucanas

I'm new to the forum, so please forgive me if this has been discussed before!  I have an eight month old EE who still is not laying.  The Australorp and Red Comet that I got with her are laying like crazy, but Omlet simply isn't living up to her name yet!

Any ideas?  Thanks!

Dana

Easter Eggers are known to be late bloomers and very unpredictable. Is she squatting? If so, she'll probably lay within 1 week. If not, who knows? I've heard of EE's laying at 40 weeks all the way up to 1 year. Hope this helps some.

That's kind of what I was afraid of! No, she's not squatting (however that really was a clue with the other two) so I guess I'll have to be patient. Bad news is I've got another EE that is about two months younger than her, I guess she'll live up to her name and lay come Easter!

Thanks!!!!

Dana

This is our new Americauna...Easter. (7 year old named her). She's had a respiratory infection that I'm treating her for.
