Differences EE, Ameraucana, & Araucana * Pls post pics*

Oh yeah! Cute fuzzy baby things!

Funny markings though. :idunno The adults almost look solid color, so I would have guessed that their chicks would be solid colored too. But I really know nada about Araucanas.

Are those pure Araucanas? Where are you located?
theyre supposed to be, theyre supposed to be french bred which is where i am, i cant verify they are since i cant read french, lol
the hen sat on a mixed bunch most of them where from the black hen, since she seems more pure fitting the english criteria of araucana where the other hen doesnt she was brown, with long comb and clean faced, not even muffs or beard

the 3 at the back and the black one came from that pairing, the other front one came from the brown araucana which i suspect is a cross and basically just an EE.
the yellow ones mum was a basic light red with white tail feathers but the same dad as the rest, i noticed it has a black spot just below each wing, the black one has a small patch of brown on the top of her head at one side, if dad carries the gene they should all lay blue eggs cept the big one at the front and the yellow which will be pail green, as the yellow came from a pale brown/tan and the front one came from a pale green anyway

the black one is the only chick with black beak and slate legs like its mum, the rest have the same colour legs as their dad, it almost makes me want the black chick to be a cock.

no i can look on the american site and read what american standard araucanas are supposed to look like, i can also research the english and australian breeds, but i cant research the french standard as im english and dont speak french

like most buyers of a rare breed you go by what you are told, the pvt seller was a policeman, not that that makes a difference, cops are just as dishonest as the rest of us no matter where in the world you are
