i have different ages of chickens, i have 4 that are laying now and i know they should have layer pellets....but the other chickens and roosters i have are younger by 2 months i am not sure how i should feed them??do i need to keep them seperate till they are all the same age?? how di i feed just some of them and not all of them the older food and not the started crumbles???when is it ok to change the food over??so many questions i have....lol

When I have baby chicks in the flock, I feed everyone something without the extra calcium (starter, grower, flock raiser) and offer oyster shell separately. The chicks don't seem to bother the oyster shell. You can also feed layer safely around 12 weeks or so.

x2 do a non-medicated grower with oyster on the side.
