I have noticed that a few of my chickens are getting dirty butts and are leaving dirty eggs. Does anybody know what I should treat them with/how long and then how long do I not use their eggs after they are done with their treatment. Thank You

hi when mine get dirty bottoms I treat with probotics it works very well. it clears up the problem in no time and there is no egg with draw period.probotics is natural beneficial bacteria that helps balance the gut. the product I use is called probios. it has several live beneficial bacteria's inside that balances out the gut. its safe to give to the whole flock. even chicks. I got mine online at WWW.probios.com.a jar is around 12 dollars and it lasts a good long time. it works like a charm for poppy butt. you you can't find the probios probotic the feed store usually has probotics there too. but I highly recommend the probios. it ships fast and its been a great product. I've used it in my flock since they were chicks. it provides the beneficial bacteria the gut needs to stay balanced and healthy. I hope this helps. best wishes

Do you just sprinkle it in their feeder?
