Disease?!

One day I was walking out to see the chickens as normal, but this time it was anything but normal. There was poop on the ground but it was red and had blood in it. I immediately thought it was a disease called coccyx or something like that and I got pretty worried. Does anybody know a cure that does not require to go to a super hard to find store, because right now it is sort of hard to get outside without risking...? Some pictures below
How long ago was this?
How old are the chickens?

That doesn't look like blood. Blood is usually either black or bright red.

Do the birds all seem healthy and act normally? I wouldn't rush to dose them with Corid or anything else based on one odd looking poop if they seem otherwise fine.

Four of our chickens are 7 months old (approximately) and nine of them are 17 weeks old. About 1 to 2 months ago they were still fine. But then in this past month they had unhealthy poop. Also the four laying hens were all not self raised and were not free ranged in their old homes.

They do seem fine, but there has been about 5 poops that I noticed were unhealthy.
By the way they came from different chickens. I will be posting more pictures tomorrow. But I am just about ready to go close their door for the night... thanks for all the replys!!!

:hmm You saw that poop about 1-2 months ago?
Your birds if they have been on the same ground this whole time have likely built resistance to the Coccidia that is found in their environment.
If they are all acting normal, eating/drinking, laying, etc. then I would just monitor poops. IF you see more poop that you are concerned about, then post it the same day.

Just a note - coccidia is found in poop and in soil - it's in their environment. Chicks do start building resistance, but sometimes they can become overloaded and do need treatment with a Coccidiostat like Corid.

Thanks! When will this disease start to kill a chicken, because I noticed that some of my chicks had it too for about a month already.
It's very quick after they get it. I've heard up to a week sometimes. If your chicks had it it could just be intestinal lining. I wouldn't take any chances though.

Here are some pictures...for bobhoke
