You think thats weird.. while I was gone my husband called to tell me that a cardinal got in our enclosed run and the chickens killed it and where doing the whole chase thing trying to eat it!!! I cant believe they would eat another bird!

Any time I find a nest of mice I feed them to my girls! They LOVE them. They will not eat a full grown mouse but they have eaten baby mice that had fur. And when I throw out any dead chicks they always seem to find them too and.......yep they eat them.
