disposal of chicken pooh & shavings??

You could but A: you'd be polluting the air some and B: you'd be wasting a good resource. Why burn it and buy fertilizer? You're only ruining the environment and spending more money.

If you don't want to deal with it, list it on Craigslist. Organic gardners will line up and haul it away for you.

If you have any space in your yard, just pile it up, water it some, cover with a piece of tarp and let it "cook". In several months, you will have wonderful compost!!! It will be a wonderful additive to anything that you grow and will help your soil.

I can't imagine explaining to my grandfather that folks buy my chicken poop. My grandmother would get it, but my organic grandfather would cry.
