I just fry bacon, or ham hocks(just to get that smoky flavor), add a little bit of water and the greens. Let it simmer until tender. Add salt, red wine vinegar, lil bit of sugar, & you should be good to go.

@BriardChickens nah, I couldn't keep him as a roo (the pretty EE chick), because I really want to do pure bred breeding......

I would like one pretty gray or blue EE, because I could always keep her with whatever flock I wanted... as long as she laid an egg that I could keep track of, it wouldn't mess up my breeding.

I am loving all the chick pictures.
