Took the big ducks to the creek

I've been letting ours out daily. The first place they go is the creek!

Mine are silly. Out daily but they won't traverses the snow with out me.... We will see if they go on their own today....

Mini how do you introduce new ducks to your flock?

Alas, we are without grow-out pens for adolescent roosters. Unless Hilma wants them to move in with her. I think it would be pretty messy though.

Mini how do you introduce new ducks to your flock?

I put them in a pen where they can see each other but not get each other. Chain link fence between. After a week or two, whenever they quit fighting through the fence, I let them together.
