Dixie Chicks

I am drooling so hard I might drown!  :drool    (Except I would want one of those plus a hatcher, or several hatchers) :D

miles of fencing would ROCK!  I wish I could pull that out of my ....uh...... hat.  ;)

picture!  post a picture!  :ya

Ok

Im going to bed. It's almost 1 am and I have to be up at 5 am to go to "work". yay.

Night, hon!

And I found a pic of my Welsummer eggs... the 12 dark ones are from what my Welsummers came from...

do you really have that many to hatch each week to fill an entire incubator? The hatching tray being in the bottom works great. Only one complaint. To keep chick's from crawling out of pedigree trays I had to pick ones as tall as the hatching tray. This prevent the turners from turning.

Get shorter ones and cut out hardware cloth to make a top to cover them... bend the cloth into a small tray that fits just over the tops of the baskets... :)

I keep reading that over n over and it still makes me feel utterly confused and lost as to what it ment.

Cabinet turners are different from styro type turners... the whole tray tilts back and forth... the bottom one dips into the top of the hatch tray, so anything inside the hatch tray as tall as it will get hit by the lowest edge of the tilted tray...

Right??

WRT fencing I was doodling today on Corel the white lines are new fence Goat and horse prof fencing mostly

The blue lines are property lines
The red lines are Horse and goat fence
The Yellow lines are chicken pen and house
The green lines are decks I want added

My whole property showing white for all fences and property lines

the roads through are easements so In order to fence my land properly each side of the road has to be 20 feet away from the center of the road... leaving forty feet clearance for road building later...

the fence that slants along and pointing toward the topmost corner is fencing off a cliff... enough to hurt a horse if they fell. about ten feet up.

and yep its sparse all year long... All decomposed granite with Big boulders intersperced. Though even the granite boulders can have fence run in them... Its a soft granite that will allow a cement drill to walk through it like butter. Some people even hammer in Rebar to run fence up and over the boulders.

I just want to make about four different areas where my horse and goats can roam.... and Protect those chickens and my house from goat and horse intrusion.

umm ok think so yeah ok maybe :D

but the turner moves so slow any chicks in there would just walk away before it got in the way.

Yeah, but there are probably at least 4 baskets inside the hatch tray, with tall sides... so it hits the top edges of the baskets...
