Eighteen acres here in the city would be a million an acre.... they can get ten houses on an acre and sell each one for 400K (depending on location) (midrange price in good middle class neighborhoods)
Though Mobile homes are not allowed.... only if you have filed for building permitts. Then you are allowed two years for a temporary residence. with some wiggle room for extensions...
Modular homes are different they are allowed as long as they have regular siding or stucco and shingled roof... Eves too Here the building codes require 18 inch eves.... And a garage. If you are on an R1 lot. There are differences between city and county not sure which is which...
Out in the desert some people build roofs over their mobile homes so they look like a house from overhead.... LOL. Its also to keep the mobile home c
