X2! Did you know they have a rain forest in Washington state?!!! I use Bing for my home page because of the awesome pics, today was Hoh rainforest Olympic park Washington huh, their way up north, how they have a rain forest?

It's a temperate rain forest. Annual rain amount is about ten feet.

I have seen the rainforest in Alaska, and it has giant banana slugs and trees that are super many feet in diameter, lots of rain, lots of berry plants. Pretty cool.

Yup, Olympic peninsula is amazing... And those are the only temperate rainforests in the Northern Hemisphere too, I believe... Dang gorgeous view, Jem... Miss it sooo much!!! Hopping the ferry around the San Juans was always a great day filler...
