I hadn't even thought about rice. Hmmm. Think I'll try that first. How about rice to pull moisture?
On shredders, is renting an option? We just went through 20 cubic yards of branches with a neighbor, the shredder rent for a day was 120€. We would have had time for double the mount, and with cheaper VAT in the states, I'm guessing it's even cheaper to rent.
I have tons of stuff to burn, old lumber plywood cabinets wood window frames trim boards, from complete tear out of kitchen and bathroom.
I'm going to dig a big hole with the backhoe and keep the water hose handy. Took three days to clean off our bluestone porch, wife's happy now, well almost still have to do trim work in both rooms, been a two year project lol. She's happy the metal jackpost is gone in between kitchen and dining room where I took out part of the wall. No hun thats not a load bearing wall. "Why can't I shut this door upstairs?" Oops!!
Quote: I have used slightly damp wood chips, even rained on wood chips and sawdust stuff....
If it is pretty wet, then I try to turn it every day for the first week.... it usually dries fast... then when it is dry I stop turning it.
True though, you wanna make sure it doesn't mold.
Haven't seen @hennible pop in today..
Anyone have any good ideas for what to make with eggs? DH doesn't like the texture of eggs on their own, so anything where you can tell it has egg in it is out (omelette, deviled eggs, etc). Things like baked goods, pancakes, waffles are in.
Chocolate flourless cake
Chocolate souffle
our humidity has been way up lately with the weather...Unfortunately I can't get it into a smaller room cause its a huge cabinet incubator. I think I feel safer trying one of the plug in type for safes. Run it for a short time each day to dehydrate the eggs a little furthur.
