His colours are neat, I've got some nice close up with my camera but BYC and PC don't like each other...

There is too many ads is why I think I have trouble with both my phone and laptop. Phone randomly freezes and has to be rebooted, laptop keyboard is majorly handicapped. Don't have any problems with either on any other site only BYC.

Red pyles are perty, I was going to save a white leghorn cockerel to make pyles with my browns until I realized only the roosters are perty, so we ate him

So how long till I can candle conturnix eggs? Or are they hard to see through?

Hard to see through. Most people candle at lockdown and throw out the clears. Any bad before that you can usually smell.

actually a bit behind. There are now 16 states. Sigh. Oh, and another site here in WI. The ban on swaps, shows, etc. here lifts at the end of this month but most are cancelling or banning poultry anyway.

DH gave me "permission" to incubate some quail eggs

I hope my ratio of 1 male to 5 females isn't too high for good fertility.

Not going to set a lot, plus they have to be set by Thursday, so they hatch before I leave for BC at the end of the month. Or I wait and collect for 10 days, set just before I leave and come back to a hatch
