which reminded me I got some food grade buckets..I want to set up for some dw hyydro for a couple tomatoes in the greenhouse...

were they part of that article that I shared?

ok I might have a stupid chicken question but.. @Alaskan are those bantam chicks and is that particular type of breed I dunno more fragile I know have read on how some breeds of chicks are more fragile?

haha no I had to double check make sure it didnt have any other ideas to do with the barrel... the one I was talking bout there are holes cutt and pulled out all around the barrel then a pipe in the middle for the compost to be placed in..you plant in the holes all around the outside of the barrel...and the top....... if that makes sense lemme see if I can find it ....

definately castors.... LOL all I have to do is see those barrels and know how much work it was to make the holes.... but when I watched the video I wanted to cringe... its that whole engineer part of me.... There is an easier way to do this.

For what its worth if you have them on a porch they are going to be very heavy... make sure you use at least five castors to handle the weight.
