No.mareks cant be gotten rid of in the ground either right?
We eat the eggs, give them to friends, etc. It does not spread by egg. There's no scientific documentation that it spreads by egg. The eggs are fine. All commercial chickens get vaccinated for Marek's.so if you do decide to keep a contaminated flock and some live for however long they will live before some cold wipes them out.......what do you do with the eggs feed them back to the chickens?
my neighbor/apprentice crazy chicken lady was given some chicks last week by her friend who ordered too many. She called me the other day and said half of the given chicks are stone crazy and bouncing all over and on top of anything in the little "bird" room she put them in. "They're only about two weeks old!" she screamed. I calming asked, "are the crazy ones white?" She said "how did you know?" I was laughing too hard to answer.silkies are the special children of the chicken world. Leghorns are the mental ward.
lol I take pictures all the timeTo take good pics, you have to go out around 10 or 2 hang out with a cup of coffee, and be prepared to sit for a few hours. Take tons of pics. You will get some nice ones. I've gotten lots of butt pics.
