Dixie Chicks

@minihorse927
Is the first one a pure white? I have one of thems.

It's for button quail, but I think it can be applied here:

Or try this site: Perry Schoefield has been breeding quail for colour, he's got many listed on his website with pictures.

Those redish ones remind me of of the Tennessee Reds, which is related to Bobwhites
I do know the white is a Texas A&M white.

yes, that is a lot of white. Is that normal on youngins? All the ones around here are the nomal black and white, except 1
I have an almost all white 1 that hangs around.
I have seen them black with a large white stripe and a thin black stripe down the middle of the larger white stripe. i have not seen too many that have this much white on them. I dont know where all our fox squirrels have gone. I wonder if the coyote got them or they have not heard most of the coyote have gone somewhere.

Baby skunks are so cute. Be careful they can spray when their small.
I want pet skunks, they make good pets. NY doesn't allow it :-(

Or have an electric fence gate hook... they have a handle that is insulcated once you un hook it the fence goes off up to the handle... Breaking the circuit. that way you dont have to mess with the eletricity...

Gate hook

they have a spring inside to keep the gate tightened... This is a simple set up... turns the whole fence off.

But you can set them up so it only lets you through the gate and the fence stays on... I just dont know how.

oh, BS on the dogs running free.
blue also leaks black. That black ticking is undesirable. This can cause the lavender to have black ticking also. I've got a lady close by who breed Lavender Orpingtons and her flock is full of it because she keeps using blue

That's the piece I was missing, lol... I had talked to jerryse about blues and Lavs and he even dropped all his BBS Am's so he didn't have to worry about mixing up the different chicks...

:lau :lau. Don't explode. You'll never retain all that genetics info. If you guys ever need genetic help let me know.

Thanks, hon... definitely will do! :)

We have the entire range of pole cats here... from almost solid black to almost solid white... never saw that big of variety before...

Had that around our farm when I was a kid... we were surrounded by dairy cows, without it they just kept breaking the fences down... they loved the garden we had, lol...

How well does that work, Sam?

But don't your ducks eat the slugs?

Just set them last night I need to check shortly, see if it worked or if I wasted two beer... No ducks allowed in the garden or greenhouse, **** polyculture books lied, ducks desamate the plants, especially the seedling. They eat the big plant and well they dable or hunt for worms they destroy the seedlings... Little buggers... Not as bad as chickens though.
