Well, it should be headed your way. It has lessened here a bit. We did not need anymore rain. Still have tadpoles flopping in the puddles.

luckily it has dried out a lot here. The creek is even starting to get less and less water in it which makes for a very unhappy ducks because they have to wander farther down now to find deep enough water to swim in.

Wow... quail bailed out the chickens... lol...
Yupp! Didn't really expect that to happen...

Ducks are so silly, all my poultry shared some watermelon yesterday morning. Finally about half of the ducks came within a foot of me, that was a first. However all that friendliness was forgotten in the afternoon when we worked on their pool. Bringing in some more rocks and sand to lead up to the pool for easier duck access into the water. They were just talking away in the far corner.

In other good news: I have put the last injured female quail back in with 2 females and a male. No fights either! They were able to see each other the whole time through wire so maybe that helped.
Couple more weeks and hopefully I can start incubating again... I need a back up male.

@hennible
, r You have inspired DD and me to start digging our pond.  We started yesterday.  It was 90F out and we were pouring sweat when we got done.  Only got a little done, but I'm in no hurry.  When I showed DD (9 years old), what you did, she said "If Hennible can do it then we can do it!" Thanks for the push:D .

I'd better get ready for work.  Rain has lessened, but winds are still whipping.  You all have a great day!

Very cool! Good for you two, just keep digging. Can't wait for pictures

Its raining here today... Grrrr! doesn't the rain no I need to dig? It's not so much me getting wet it's the boys, maybe my mom will watch them in the house for me.... :fl

:he what a day already...:rant

What happened? Or was that for hen wanting to dig?

Talking of rain... All of the wells up here that I take care of have been having spotty moments.... I think two years of very little snow have dried us up a bit. :(

Should be fine.... But whatever.

I pulled a MAJOR stupid on Friday night.... Like I am not sure if I have EVER been that ..... Uh........ Immoderate shall we say.

Crazy.... You would think that I would know better

I couldn't move until Saturday evening... And then not much... Sunday morning I was still a bit off... But by Sunday afternoon I had finally recovered fully.

I am still blown that I was such an idiot

Luckily, I was with friends :idunno and they didn't let me do some of the stupid things that I suggested, (that I have zero memory of).

Boggles the mind... And yes, I am pretty sure that I still have one.
