Dinner at 10:30pm. Buffalo chicken strips with hot sauce and celery with ranch or blue cheese dressing.

In chicken news, we have a BEAUTIFUL solid white rooster. I have butchered quite a few, but he was kept back for selective breeding. However, he is such a wimp. Sue kicks his tail all the time and the white rooster (Snowman) runs away screaming. Well, today FINALLY, I seen Sue jump on one of the hens and Snowman came running up to kick his tail. I have never seen Sue back down from any rooster, but today, he almost did. I am so happy! Not that my rooster is turning more aggressive, but that he is finally not so chicken sh**! In one of our hatches he has 2 baby chicks. One is a pullet all white and one is an all white cockerel. We named him Snowball.

I sorted some of my black large fowl phoenix and fly ties. Seems like a lot of cockerels. :/ 2 or 3 of the black phoenix have leakage. Ick.

@hennible, I commend you on that pond. I don't think I could do it. Well I could, but I'm lazy...

It was super nice not to get shocked when I touch the barn and be able to turn the lights on.

I sorted some of my black large fowl phoenix and fly ties. Seems like a lot of cockerels. :/ 2 or 3 of the black phoenix have leakage. Ick.

I was sitting and looking at that batch of chicks I got from Boggy Bottom... A bleeping lot of boys. I have 4 girls in the bunch.... Which maykes what..... Uh... I have no idea how many I have in total Maybe it is only 10, in which case that is not bad... Almost even.....

Anyway, the point is that I have three that are an Isabel kind of color, ALL boys, I have one all white, boy, I have only one goldneck that is a boy, the girl goldneck died

I have three buff columbian... All....... The same sex, girls

And one, uh silver quail I think? Anyway, girl.

I don't see how a gold neck or a isabel kind of color rooster over a buff columbian or silver quail is going to get me anything besides weird muddy colors.

Ravyn... How do the interestingly colored chicks look? Any tiny wing feathers yet?

I think I may be half and half on the Phoenix and I think I have 1 more Cockerel than pullets in the fly ties. I need to look at them in the day light. Plus figure I'm looking at a breed I have no personal experience with other than raising the babies. They claim they do mature fast.
