@minihorse927 , I love the colors!! I am partial to my chickens with "blue" in them. We got more rain over the weekend. SO, another pullet died.

When I went out yesterday morning, she was barely alive and being trampled. I pulled her out & put her in a cage. An hour later, gone. We went ahead and moved the bigger ones to the back, only problem I have is some are cockerels. I am keeping the cuckoo marans cockerels for breeding next spring. My grown roosters will give them a what four and I don't want that.

x2! It is happening to mostly the purchased pullets. They were purchased from feed store that bought their chicks from Meyer Hatchery. A couple of my stock have died, but were mixed in the pen with them.

Have a short day at work tomorrow, so I will spend a bit of time (FINALLY) with my chicks tomorrow. Been too busy to think.

have you dewormed them? I had some drop over and they had pale faces. Gave then a dose of safeguard and they all came put of it within a couple days
