yeahh on the new layers! so sorry on the diseases
exhausted here and feeling overwhelmed..so much to do never enough time
I understand. I am sure the tylan 50 and special feed helped with their sniffles. I am not sure what all caused a couple of runs NOT even next toneachnother to develope a sniffle. Some people would not have caught a chicken with a sniffle. During all that I caught a very bad cold and was taking Nyquil and dayquil night and day. Halls cough drops too. Then decided to give it all up and had a big( beer mug sized) good and strong Captain Morgans spiced Rum and coke with lime. Maybe the lime did the trick? Feeling better. Lost some expensive Chickens to predators recently.Overwhelmed here also. Have to get ready for winter, no wood cut. Supposed to get in low 40s at night for now on. Trying to get our propane fire place hooked up so I don't have to fire up wood boiler.
Had to put chicken tractor/coop on hold, been sick for days...Think the chickens gave me mareks or parvo. Haven't had a beer in days :-(
Only good news is no other chickens have got sick yet, maybe it isn't meraks, they sure did look and act it though...
