We actually had our first frost night before last. My lawn needs mowing...hope the frost kills it off. Our leaves are starting to change colors. Almost autumn here

What do you have alaskan? Green and -poof- gone?
We only get green and briefly yellow.

We have green, then I am too high up except for one deciduous tree I planted, and some deciduous shrubs I planted, but at a bit lower elevation there are a decent number of deciduous trees.

All of the trees turn yellow.... The short shrubs (blue berries and cranberries, etc.) all turn red... The fireweed turns red. Kinda cool having the color segregated.

If we don't have a bunch of wind and rain the colors can stay for a month... A week or two is more typical, some times only three days.
