Minihorse, you raising the rabbits for meat? Or selling as pets? We have 9 now. Suppose to be meat rabbits....but I haven't butchered any. DH said he was going to. . yeah.

I'm raising then for meat but figure we'll sell a few on the side. I've got a friend who wants a magpie doe so I told her if I had a doe in the litter I'd sell her one. I'm keeping a buck out of them so that leaves one rabbit for butcher unless the other one Kindles. I'm the butcher person around here. Josh isn't around enough to do it although he'd help if I butcher on a weekend while he isn't slammed with other farm work. I'm hoping this weekend to go get three 75%kunekune and 25% American guinea hog gilts. Figure it'll start us a breeding program once we find a barrow or boar for them and we'll have pasture raised pork.
