Dixie Chicks

pickled kelp
3 1/2 quarts water
1/4 cup salt
2 quarts vinegar
whole garlic cloves
chilies
dill blossoms
* optional jalapeno

bread and butter pickled kelp
3 quarts bull kelp stripe sliced into 1/4" to 1/2" thick "O's"
2 large onions chopped or sliced
1/4 cup canning salt
1 pint vinegar 5% acidity
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon celery seeds
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon peppercorns
1 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

I wouldn't have minded so much if I'd known. I don't know how big there's was, it was a couple hundred yrds from where I was standing and it felt like it was feet from me. I was in shock, expecting to see someone with a shotgun pointed at me, thought I was dead.
They shoot a lot, doesn't bother me. Surprise massive explosions, wow not funny.
Now I need to pick some of that stuff up.
And I thought my 10gauge blanks were loud...

As a side note, you have to have a high powered rifle to set it off.
