awesome answers and thoughts shared everyone ty :)

I did mean to exclude predator issues in that question. seems like no matter what we do it always come back to some thought for predator issues safety of the birds from them ect. ..

some of the draw backs for me is the lil buggers laying where they shouldn't, feed consumption going down low yes but quality of egg shell also declined.... simple solution for me is they are released out in the afternoon..

bennys birds happy lil guys and gal's, weed control pest control... lower feed.....provides lots of entertainment for them as a flock, some integrations with free range..I observe much more flock integration as a whole in free range setting as apposed to confined.

Pros, less feed, pest control, weed control, happier birds, less cleanup

Cons, predators, eggs laid in hidden nests sometimes, birds not going back into the coop at night and roosting in a tree or elsewhere.

I am doing a very small turkey... about twelve pounds. Stuffed with Mrs Cubbisons stuffing.
Home made cranberry sauce
Creamed onions
Either mashed potatoes or mashed Rutabegas. If I can find the rutabegas in the store it will be those
Green bean casserole (maybe)

Fresh veggies Carrots, radishes, celery, Green onions
Black olives, Sweet pickles,

There are only four of us... Grandma Mom Son and Me.
