Dixie Chicks

Thank you very much Kathy and Ravyn
Her name is V, she's a lovely mutt. I'll let you know how it turns out.
Here's some chicks lol
A broody left the nest with only three days to go. I'm thinking she was too hot or just done. So I finished them in the bator, there are four little barnyard mixes.

Glad to help, Sam... hope V recovers... doesn't matter to me whether a lovely mutt or fancy breed, when you love 'em you love 'em... :D

Come get my broody girls, it's like a plague. I can move them daily, toss them off eggs daily... they just keep coming back. One hen actually stole a whole Muscovy clutch. I've even got a Rouen sitting tight, they never sit for me. The Muscovy started a new clutch and is now sitting as well. Here is the hen butting in a few days ago. The hens that are going broody were all hatched by the same girl last summer, but only a few are actually her daughters.
