HI New people.....

I took a step today to get back home at least part time.... I arranged for propane to be delivered.... Next week. The propane a the house ran out a while ago.... So when i spend a long day there I was hoping to take a nice long shower in my custom shower. Its designed for handicapped access.... No Bathtub to climb over on unsteady feet and room to sit on my shower chair and actually reach my feet.... dont laugh... but I usually have blue feet...

Anyway because the propane ran out they will not fill my tank till its pressure inspected. And when they do that they will light the water heater pilot. Its one of those ones that you dont need a blow torch to light but I have never lit it myself. So I WILL be watching the process for sure.

They have a special deal I can get it for 2.19 a gallon.... So I am waiting till Payday so I can get the full 200 gallons... Oh wait .... that will be two weeks... I can do that.... 200 gallons for just the pilot light on the water heater will last me two or three years.... Long enough to get another Whopping discount.

Of course once I can get up there a few days a week I will be doing major cleaning.... MAJOR cleaning. I havent lived there for eight years.

I may invest in a Dyson sooner than I expect... But for now I will be using the Shop vac.

and I most certainly will be taking pictures to document...

I think a 3 x 8 would be fine for that amount. The most important
thing is to move it so they don't kill the grass under the tractor. I remove the food from mine at sunset so they can't sit and eat at night. I have a brooder plate (Ecoglow by Brinsea) so they are used to dark nights from the beginning. No eating 24 hours a day. Barnyard mixes would be great. You could use the tractor as a cockerel grow out pen. If you have large breeds and are incubating eggs, why pay to
get others?!

ya thats kinda what I hoping for ultimately but I do want to least try the crosses even if it's a couple just out of curiosity seen them on utubes and ppl talking bout them but thatsstill not the same as seeing them r/l are the red rangers sustainable? say if I kept a hen that bred with my rooster would the babys have a hybrid vigor or?

that reminds me we have polish stuff all over here it' not freezing to the artic conditions but it is plenty humidt wet n gets colder at some places and plenty seem to keep them...though have heard they are flighty and like to fly and are hit or miss depending on the lien as to their egg production

it. is. so. bad.

Oh mann... i am such a TV addict I would be rejoycing.... but I understand your pain. My son wont watch tv unless its something he likes... So I bow to his requirements.

just be happy shes entertaining her self... put some head phones on it will be OK.

deb Um which city? just being painfully curious.

THE city. Are there any other cities than Anchorage in Alaska?

Oh, just looked it up, Anchorage, ~300K people, Fairbanks and Juneau, both at about 32K, fourth on the list is Sitka with an adorable 8000 people. Alaskan lives in the eleventh biggest city or town with 5000 other Homerians or what ever a person living in Homer might be called.

Don't worry Al, you'll be back in Homer in just a few days, even if it might feel like years.

Oh yeah Sam, how's the nephew doing? Hope he's feeling, and also getting, better.

Just installed a new belt on the sauna compartment's air exchanger with the neighbor, now the heat recovery is working again. It had worn out in only 2 years, must have been faulty some way.

Oh, weather report from today. It's about +2C, and it's been raining slushy snow all morning, now it's stopped and turned into wind instead. Anyone ever experience thunder and snow at the same time before? Was a first for me this morning. All our walkways are deathtraps, the ground is still frozen, so the melting snow is freezing to the cleared areas. Skates would have been handy clearing out the walkways.
