THAT would have been a federal offense. I'd really hate to explain to my cellmate in Leavenworth that I was doing 20 years for snatching a buffalo baby out of a national park...worse, I would have been just the get away driver. I'd have to make up some crap like I poisoned my entire family or something.

apparently when you cross state lines you have to have the hunting tag on each package of meat.... And evidence of its Gender left in tact on the carcass. Were talking Deer elk what not.... not farm raised on a hunting ranch.

actually just the largest piece of meat - assuming it's processed. it also has to stay on the meat until consumed according to WA law. <eyeroll> And that's for game harvested within the state.
