DH said she was back at 5 eggs... someone really LOVES giving her more eggs!!

If she doesn't hatch out anything within the next week she's done! And that is giving her a couple extra days past 21. Hubby and I are going away for 2 1/2 weeks at the end of February and I don't want to leave the house sitter looking after young chicken babies. But I might set the incubator with 7 EE eggs when we get back

Orpington with a green (looks more blue from the inside when peeled) EE gives you what coloured eggs?

ok I need some chicken help..darn sexing chickens drive me nuts.......I remember telling my grandma it was stupid to have chickens you couldnt tell lol I was trying to convince her to get more barred rocks (they were nice) and away from the mean ole nasty rir

anyways lemme upload this any sex idea jump in.. I thought was a roo but now not soo sure isnt getting the feathering in as the others are but maybe its cuz of the polish? they are roughly about 12ish weeks will give better answer when I come home n check going to drive my son so he can go do some volunteer work for the local soup kitchen

EE's are green, blue, brown,white ,pink possibility Orpingtons are brown havent heard of any other color egg with them

Sorry not much help on the sexing yet... on first glance the heshe's last picture looks like a Chicken with a duck bill not a beak...

looking at the hackle and sickle feathers, that are longer and more pointy in roos, I don't see it being a roo!

NAF, She does all the work when it comes to animals. I just build stuff. She's one of a kind (even if she does drive me crazy every once in a while - but I drive her crazy too, so it balances out)
