Dixie Chicks

Oh that would drive me nuts... The set up I've got now is way to easy... I drop off however many I have ( cleaned, packaged and graded ) at the health food store... They pay me up front and then retail them at a small mark up... Its a sweet dang deal...

oop, brrrr. At least the gas is cheap! Huddle down and start warm.

We've been given the opportunity to purchase the last of a friends flock of anconas and we are doing it. We are excited to add a chocolate pair, another blue, and 2 more blacks to our breeding program.

We are preparing here to@Outpost JWB we think we've got everything but need to go get some gas for the generator. I've got those expensive eggs in the incubator and I'm not chancing losing them! We'll get through if we get lots of snow. If things get to bad we will fire up our bulldozer and make our own way out.

Well, so far the snow has missed us. Just rained all day. Suppose to be freezing tonight. Did you get any snow? It was snowing pretty good when I left for work, but turned to rain.

Have you candled your eggs yet?

and the weather dropped it was drizzling when we started this but the sun popped out not that it warmed it up any it's about mid 40's... I also put some lime in the new raised bed added some lava rock dust and some other goodies and layered another layer or two

this is the best picture I could get of the red coming out in dottys comb and round her eyes.. spent an hour trying to get this pic lol.............looks like she be soo close to laying to me? anyone else?

@RavynFallen We trapped it then dispatched it. Didn't set it free as it was prob sick and we didn't want it fighting with the cats or getting chicks. The last possum crawled into the cats outside shelter box and died last year. So I didn't have to do anything there but disperse of the body. Lol.

Jem so jealous...green grass. Wow! Nice pictures too!

haha true @chickwhispers :) I like the look of moss actually.. at one of my houses where I did teir leveled beds I would go out into the forest and get tubs of moss like grass sod from the forest floor and had replanted it around the stepping stones of the pathways
