this is the best picture I could get of the red coming out in dottys comb and round her eyes.. spent an hour trying to get this pic lol.............looks like she be soo close to laying to me? anyone else?

Hahaha, someone after my own heart, @chickwhispers! I feel is better safe than sorry when it comes to very large rodents. That's why I dispatched this one with a rifle, lol. I just don't wanna give it a chance to bite in case it does have something...

Well, so far the snow has missed us.  Just rained all day.  Suppose to be freezing tonight.  Did you get any snow?  It was snowing pretty good when I left for work, but turned to rain. 

Have you candled your eggs yet?

it's rained all day! Yep I have and I got 4/4 on the svart hona, 5/6 swedish flowers, 15/15 ohiki and ohiki/orp cross under a broody, 1 ohiki and 4 ohiki/orp cross in the incubator. I think that's right? There is 30 eggs fertile in total. I'll be swimming in chicks!
