Somebody walking by the other day when I was at the coop asked if I had chickens and was I missing any? Both she and I had seen a coyote earlier that week trotting down the street with a fresh chicken dinner.
Then she asked how many chickens I had.

"Six out here....and...and...and it's complicated." Didn't want to get into the brooders and incubators in the house. She didn't ask any questions after that.

Red wine, a nice merlot or the Folie a Deux "Menage a Trois" blend

White wine, voignier or pinot gris.

Beer, amber (Rogue's Dead Guy, Bold Tail Ale or Red Nectar)....but prefer hard cider

Hard stuff, rum or bourbon (winter = time for the ambers!)

Cheese, pretty much all EXCEPT Limburger and funky ones. Love a nice soft mozzarella with tomato and basil, triple crème brie w/crackers. Grilled cheese sandwiches with Gruyere, jarlsberg, cheddar or mozzarella...a blend, if possible. Bleu cheese or chevre nearly nightly in salads.

Okay. It's still my first cup of coffee and already I want dinner....
