Don't worry, I have more than that right now in the freezing fricken' cold!!
This is the first year mine have taken a break in winter. Some of my gals are approaching 3 years old, some 2, and one just started laying. I really want to hatch the blue orp hens eggs so I can see what I get in a pure bred chick, but the one egg I was sure was hers wasn't fertile. I may clip her feathers around her vent in spring. She's got a cushy tushie.
Ameracuanas. Ahhh my dream chickens. I finally getting chicks from mr &mrs smith. Wondering how hardy they are. My wife n I have a few chickens mostly silkies. N belguim de uccles.

ETA: They are very hardy, just not as prolific a layer as a regular laying hen... sorry, got excited and posted before I answered, lol...
Yes getting wheaten n blue wheaten n blacks n lavs. I excited can't wait. Countdown til they get here. Worth what I spent on getting them.
