Honestly, I have no idea. We live in southeast Alabama. It wouldn't hurt to try though!!!!!

Regular sweet potatoes are a hot weather crop you probably can't grow them without a greenhouse NAF... But I'm not sure

I loved it... Silly moose I don't think they had a tag for that kill...

One year I grew slips and just let them vine around my kitchen. It was like a jungle on my island. Last year I threw them in a pot and just let them go. It took forever but they kept growing. Then I forgot to protect them from that monster winter we had. No more taters.

Yeah, no greenhouse but I could start them inside and transplant the slips into a raised prepped bed. It would be worth a try! How long are they in the ground down there before you harvest them?

dunno exactly they figure was divertiuius(sic) ya was a nasty thing... they almost killed me diagniosing it when they put my kidneys into failure...I spent 2 years in misery with that crud, couldnt eat or drink got so bad couldnt even drink water..finally got transported to a hospital fixed me up.. after the rupture an abcess formed around my colon and appendix along with a tumor... had a flight back to our house in maryland and the plane ride ruptured it and started causing this horrid rash that was burning like someone napalmed me..went in for that and the surgeon at the hospital they transported to me was a pro fixed me all up...nothing like doctors telling you it's all in your head ..hrmmpft...wouldnt wish that crud on my worse enemy
