Easy flan recipe

http://www.food.com/recipe/easy-caramel-flan-creme-caramel-213213

I have even seen flan cooked uner chocolate cake.... and consumed it at a very good Mexican restaurant. I used to have a friend who was a French trained Mexican Chef.... His food was four star.... Good French cooking Good Mexican cooking and he also did a marvelous blend of the two occasionally.

Takes a bundt pan non stick I would venture would be the best.... Make the caramel the custard the same. Then mix up a chocolate cake batter and gently pour over the top.... Bake as you would as a custard

Wow! 12 pages to read! Sucks I woke up new years day with a pounding headache and a broke phone so I can't keep updated at work. My favorite pickled eggs is just putting them in cherry pepper brine after eating the peppers. I can't seem to peel fresh boiled eggs either, and I've tried many ways. Someone suggest poking a hole in the air pocket side and it loosens the shell, have to try it. deb, I took three years of Spanish in highschool and tried flan a few times, it is super delicious.
Someone asked about good laying ducks, Khaki Cambells lay more eggs than any chicken. I had one, and then a Campbell/Mallard cross that was a super good setter. One time she hatched out 22 ducklings.

My last post sounds wrong... The "had a life" part sounds rude... Not meant to be rude...

Nah, not rude. I sometimes REALLY miss the life I used to have. I would greatly enjoy a 'life reset' button. It would be interesting to see what would have happened in my life if I had made totally different choices.

btw I been thinking of custard lately and wanted to make a custard with a carmel glaze over the top anyone have any good recipes suggestions ect? I havent done a custard in forever but thought be good use for eggs

When we have way too many eggs I like making giant egg casseroles, flour-less chocolate cake, or chocolate souffle... I am not sure if I have one bookmarked. I am really bad now, I google and look through recipes until I see one that has the 'right' proportions etc., and then I use that.

btw does anyone know what dixie might be male female type or breed, thought I would ask y'all before I go hunting through a million baby chick pictures........I keep thinking the yellow chick with a racing stripe down the back wiggling at my memory but I cant put a finger on it........and other then a hen sitting in a nest box not leaving any hints might be broody or not?

racing stripes on a chick is just the 'wild pattern type', so it can be ANY breed that is 'wild pattern', so Brown leghorns, Welsummer, any breed in a partridge color, etc. etc.

buff chicks usually end up solid brown, white and very light yellow chicks tend to go white, black chicks tend to go solid black or cuckoo or barred.
