I love Cabernet Sauvignon... And Sauvignon Blanc... anything dry because sweet wines give me a hangover.

Cabernet is good with cheese and crackers.... swiss or cheddar.... and apples

I'm glad I don't get hangovers only time I ever got sick from drinking was on my 21st bday and my bf had INSISTED I drink some gatoraid n crude so I wouldn't get a hangover the next morning... I kept saying I didn't like gatoraid and it was gross but he kept insisting and finally I drank it to appease him cuz after all he was just saying ti cuz he cared right...? all I can say is...big big..oh yeah BIG mistake lol

we can discuss which cheeses should go with that whine!

Personally, for everyday use, I like me some

Colby Jack or Monty Jack, with a little Pepper Jack too! They are the cheeses of my youth, so nothing in the world can ever be as good.

Other than those... I love all goat cheeses, and sheep cheeses, and the creamy mild cheeses.

I like blue cheeses in salad dressings

I like Brie and similar baked and in fancy food dishes

Super stinky, it must be rotten and why do people eat them and not get sick, cheeses.... nope, no thank you.

WOW! I always wonder why some people are on a thread for a long time but don't post anything. I miss my phone! It takes forever to catch up!

Alaskan, I love aged stinky sharp cheese, the stronger the better. Watched a documentary on Monks and their Trappist style Belgian ales. They invented Limburger cheese as a strong cheese that could stand up to their strong beers. So I had to try it. Had it plain, good and creamy. Tried it on rye bread with red onion, mmm! Then I tried it sober and almost threw up, down right disgusting! Tasted like rancid sewer! No wonder it can kill Mighty Mouse!
Maybe I'll try it again someday, but I'll make sure I'm drunk first! Lol!

my dad loves Limburger. He eats it sober. He likes to order it in restaurants so he can watch all the other customers and their faces when the smell hits them.

Me though...... nope.
