She wasn't very big, the dark cornish. Didn't look nothing like a frankenbird, but she did have a larger than the others...white meat area.
I hear they don't lay the best thats why I didn't plan on keeping her. The kids made me keep the one glpolish in that bunch though...grrr, she better lay some eggs! I can'f eat a fluffy head! Lol!

There is a difference between Cornish and Cornish x birds. Cornish is the foundation I believe for the Cornish Crosses. But the exact mix is a very closely guarded secret.

The Cornish were the meat birds before the Cornish Crosses.... the difference being the time they take to be at butcher weight.
Or just go with bresse.... They are a French meat bird.
