Dixie Chicks

i think thats a good deal, he would pay alot more to buy chicks, food until they're that age, plus the wait for them to grow up, if i wanted sex links i would snap up that dea!
we're staying the winter down on junpiter lake, defuniak springs fl, saw my first live beaver this morning, so awesome:woot
u should visit chautauqua vineyards. Take the tasting tour. Their muskedine wines are our favorite on earth. They grow most of their grapes in alabama

I'll have to keep my eye on them just to see what they go for. The guy I'm buying from in PA said $45 each for pure svart hona eggs, and $20 each for the cemani red leghorn cross eggs that I want. Hopefully they hatch. He has pure cemani's also but it sounded like he didn't want to part with any of their eggs. $80 a young breeding pair from the woman here in NY for naked neck cemani cross, and sounded like she would go down on her price for a pure cemanis roo for $400. I'm insane!

omgosh I go to a friends over in redmond they have a lil pon a beaver winters in...and we were standing round talking n I look 2 feet to my left and a beaver snuck up and in one bite nipped off a sapling so it fell between us........

Cute jem

Anybody want to weigh in on this? I need to move the seven week old chicks out to the coop, I could put them in the old coop which is further away from the house and not as well insulated or let's say it's not insulated at all... Or I could move some of the heartier adults to the old coop and slowly blend the seven week olds into the main coop by my house which has power and more insulation and a run....
Thoughts?

you have a brooder box for them? I like putting the chicks in the big coop while they are in the brooder box for a lil bit for a few days so they get use to each other..........then I started letting them roam a lil in the free range area with the others watched their behavior when seemed fine I snuck them in at night.. they were 7 weeks old
