Yeah, DH just told me they are saying this may be the worst storm to ever hit NYC. Hopefully, the people are prepared and stay inside.

If the city gets a inch they say it costs like a billion$ to remove it, they shut down over a inch.

The problem with snow in cities is that the wind gathers it unevenly, I don't know what kind of rooftops NY mainly has, but in Helsinki, a foot of snow means two feet on the streets. And nowhere to push it, everything needs to be hauled away. That problem at least exists in NY too. It's easier in a more sparsely populated area, you've got empty lots where you can push the snow but I don't think NYC has too many of those.

I really like the spots, Beer. Wilma had some in the beginning too but now all her eggs have an even color. I hope our two suspected pullet chicks actually turn out to be that, they hatched from nice, dark spotted eggs.

@vehve Rush was never my favorite I could not get past his voice until one day I was doing dishes and it was on every hard rock station preset into the kitchen radio. Ugh, so I just dealt with it. When I finally actually listened to the lyrics, I became a fan. Whoda thunk it? DH still doesn't know, he changes the station if it comes on for me. LOL

Hank III is cool. I hadn't heard him before.

Snowpocalypse 2015 - "most epic storm" Oh please let them stop freaking folks out. I don't even watch the weather anymore. I can't change it so why bother. I just stay prepared as best I can, replenishing supplies as needed. No run to clean out the stores for me.
