Little girl is SUPER EXCITED e   She and DH are going on a date tomorrow night.  They have a father- daughter dance to attend   So cool!

I bet they have a great time and she'll remember it forever!

supposedly the skull on a silkie is actually kinda defective....  if they get pecked on just the right spot it can easily kill them

The vaulted skull that Silkies (and some other breeds) have is more susceptible to injury.  Think newborn baby skull that is still in "pieces" and not a single bone. The hen must have hit him just the right/wrong place.

Thanks! We love or birds, but after they pass they are chicken. At least we know ours had a good life before the end.
