There's a chicken swap this Saturday, and I am so over run with roos. I'm also thinking I might bring down any ee/oe's that hatch.

Including all my ac roo, I plan on bringing all my roos except the white bresse and also bringing some laying pullets to sweeten the deal. Considering 3 roos have had the crow reduction surgery, just, who needs 9 roos? Not me

Still no more hatching yet, but more pips!

We're really bad at checking our mail, I think we remember to check the mailbox about once a week. You'd think it would be easy, but it's about 200 meters from the door...

I have teens that order stuff online. I don't even have to ask anymore.

Ok, some pics of the waterer. This turned out uglier than intended, but it will at least work as a proof of concept.

Also, I started on a new batch of sprouts. This time they were soaked for about 12 hours, same pea-oat-wheat mix. And now they're on a heat mat from the get go. We'll see how this works with the spraying, the previous batch sprouted very unevenly and some didn't at all. And it took 6 days. I'm hoping to cut it down to 4 with the heat and soaking.
